Every uPVC door we sell is made by Amber Windows in our Coleshill factory, and our own team surveys and fits it in Birmingham. If you are looking for uPVC doors, this page covers what we make, what you can choose and what a fitting involves.
A double glazing door is a door with sealed glass in it, and we make them for both front and back entrances. Our uPVC doors have a steel reinforced frame and are cut to your measurements in our own manufacturing unit, so the door sits in the opening with no gaps and no filler. If you want to compare styles first, browse all our doors.
Want a thicker, timber-look slab? Compare composite doors, or read our advice on double glazed front doors.
We are registered with FENSA, and your new door is covered by our comprehensive guarantee. If you would rather spread the cost, ask us about finance at your free home survey. You can see where we work on our Birmingham area page.
Many people change the door and the windows together so the colours match. If the back of the house needs attention, we also make bi-folds and conservatories.
It depends on the door, the frame and what we find when the old one comes out, so we do not give one fixed figure online. At your free home survey we will explain the plan for your doorway and agree the day with you.
Usually, yes. We make doors and windows in the same factory, so we can plan the colour and glass style together when we measure up.
Ours have a steel reinforced frame, high security locks and hinges, and a multi-point locking system. We also suggest choosing a door that meets the British Standard PAS 24-1.
uPVC suits many homes and is easy to keep clean. Composite doors are thicker and come in a wider spread of colours. We will talk you through both at the survey so you can compare them side by side.
