Amber Windows has fitted a new composite front door at this brick house in Bartley Green, B32. The after photo was taken while the installation was still being finished, with one of our fitters working at the bin store beside the new door. As always, the job started with a free home survey, and the door was made to measure in Coleshill.
The before photo is a close-up of the old dark wood-effect door, with an oval stained-glass panel and a worn white frame under a plain concrete canopy. In the after photo, the opening has a new red composite door with small square glazed panels at the top, a tall decorative glazed panel and chrome handle, in a clean white frame. The canopy and the outside light were kept, and the finishing touches were still being done when the photo was taken.
Every front door opening is a little different. At the free home survey, our surveyor measures the opening, checks the frame, threshold and step, and talks you through door styles, colours and glass. The door is then built to size in Coleshill.
