Amber Windows has fitted a new door and two uPVC windows at this red-brick home in Birmingham, B31. The order was for a composite door and two windows. Unusually, the before photo was taken from inside the house, looking out through the old door and windows to the garden, while the after photo shows the new installation from outside. As always, the job started with a free home survey, and everything was made to measure in Coleshill.
The opening is a door with a window on each side, all set into the brickwork. Before, there was an older white door with a large glazed panel, flanked by two windows with small top openers. The after photo shows the new white frames: a tall, fully glazed door with a white lever handle, between a narrow window on one side and a wider window on the other, each with its own top-opening light and a white sill along the bottom.
