Composite doors in West Bromwich

This grey rendered terraced house in West Bromwich, B71, now has a bright new front door from Amber Windows. We began with a free home survey, made the door to measure at our factory in Coleshill, and our own fitters carried out the installation. The before and after photos below show the change.

What we fitted

The old door was a plain white uPVC door with a large glazed top half and a solid panel below, with a mesh fly screen hung across the opening. We replaced it with a white composite door. Its top section is an arched glazed panel, divided by glazing bars that fan out from the bottom of the arch, and below that sit four raised panels, a chrome letterplate and a chrome lever handle. The door is set in a clean white frame, framed in turn by the black pillars and black canopy over the entrance, so the white door really stands out against the grey render.

Why the survey comes first

An entrance like this one, tucked beneath a canopy with pillars either side, leaves very little room for guesswork. At the free home survey, our surveyor measures the opening precisely, checks the threshold, and talks you through door styles, glass designs and hardware. Your door is then built to those exact measurements in Coleshill, ready for our fitters to install.

Guarantee and registration

Every composite door we fit comes with our comprehensive guarantee. Amber Windows is FENSA registered, and finance options are available if you would prefer to spread the cost.
