Composite doors in Wolverhampton

This rendered terraced house in Wolverhampton, WV4, now has a smart new front door from Amber Windows. As with all of our installations, we carried out a free home survey, made the door at our factory in Coleshill and sent our own fitters to put it in. Take a look at the before and after photos below to see how much difference one door can make.

What we fitted

The old white uPVC door, with its small arched window near the top and raised panels below, has been replaced with a black composite door. The top half of the new door is taken up by a tall arched glazed panel, with glazing bars that fan out across the curve like a sunburst and form neat squares lower down. Underneath sit two raised panels, a chrome letterplate and a chrome lever handle, and the door is set in a white frame with a crisp white cill at the threshold. Against the warm, sand-coloured render, the black finish gives the front of this terrace a bold, traditional look.

Why the survey comes first

Doorways on older terraces are rarely perfectly square, and there is often a step or threshold to think about as well. That is why we never skip the free home survey. Our surveyor measures the opening carefully, checks the render and the step around the frame, and helps you settle on the colour, glass design and handle you would like. Your door is then made to those exact sizes in Coleshill, so it fits snugly when our team arrives.

Guarantee and registration

Your new door is backed by our comprehensive guarantee, so you can enjoy it with real peace of mind. Amber Windows is FENSA registered, and finance is available if you would find it easier to spread the cost.
