This buff-brick house in Bedworth, CV6, has new grey uPVC windows from Amber Windows. The order covered seven windows and a set of French doors, and it started with a free home survey. Everything was made to measure in Coleshill.
The before photo is a close view of the front window beside the porch, with its old white frames, a hanging-basket bracket above and a garden gnome below. The after photo shows the same corner from further back. The window now has a dark grey uPVC window under the stone lintel, and the first-floor window in the rendered gable above, with its red diamond tile detail, has a matching grey frame. Scaffolding was put up so the first-floor work could be done safely, and it was still in place when the photo was taken. The brickwork, the porch and the gnome stayed as they were.
Changing from white to grey frames is a big change to the look of a house, so it pays to see the options first. At the free home survey, our surveyor measures every window and the French door opening, checks the sills and the lintels, and shows you colour and glass choices. Our surveyor also checks whether scaffolding is needed for the upstairs windows. Everything is then built to size in Coleshill.
The windows and French doors are covered by our comprehensive guarantee. Amber Windows is FENSA registered, and finance is available if you would like to spread the cost.
