uPVC bay windows in Coventry

This terraced house in Coventry, CV4, has a two-storey bay under its own gable, and Amber Windows has made and fitted two new uPVC bay windows for it. We carried out a free home survey first, built the bays to measure at our factory in Coleshill, and our own fitters installed them. The photos below show the house before the work and from across the street afterwards.

What we fitted

The order covered two uPVC windows, both bay windows. Before the work, the bays on the first floor and the ground floor both had white frames filled with diamond leaded glass, set between pebbledash above and red brick below, beside an arched brick entrance. In the after photo, taken as a wider shot of the terrace with our sign on the front wall, the first-floor bay now has clear, undivided glass in crisp white frames, with slim top lights above the main panes, which gives the front of the house a much lighter, more open look. The ground-floor bay is shown with diamond leaded glazing.

Why the survey comes first

Bay windows are built from several angled sections, so every measurement and angle has to be right before anything is made. At your free home survey, our surveyor measures each bay carefully, checks the structure above and below it, and talks through glass styles with you, whether you prefer clear glass or a leaded design. The bays are then made to those exact sizes in Coleshill.

Guarantee and registration

Both bay windows are covered by our comprehensive guarantee. Amber Windows is FENSA registered, and if you would rather not pay all at once, finance options are available.
