Three new uPVC windows have been made and fitted for this terraced house in Coventry, CV4. As with every Amber Windows job, it started with a free home survey, the windows were built to measure at our Coleshill factory, and our own fitters installed them. Our two photos were taken from different sides of the house, so they show the property from two angles rather than the same view twice.
This order was for three standard uPVC windows. The before photo was taken at the back of the house, where dark render covers the first floor and red brick the ground floor. It shows the older white windows on that side: two upstairs, one with obscured glass and one larger window with curtains, plus one window downstairs next to the back door. The after photo was taken from the street, with our sign on the front garden wall, and shows the front of the house with its white windows, pebbledash upper storey and red-brick entrance.
Older terraced houses often have openings that are not perfectly square, and window sizes can vary from one side of the house to the other. At the free home survey, our surveyor measures each opening individually, checks the brickwork and render around the frames, and talks through glass and opening options with you. Each window is then made to its own measurements in Coleshill.
All three windows are covered by our comprehensive guarantee. Amber Windows is FENSA registered, so your new windows can be certified as meeting building regulations, and finance is available if you would like to spread the cost.
