Amber Windows is fitting new white uPVC windows at this red-brick house in Derby, DE23. The order covered three windows, and it started with a free home survey. The after photo was taken while the installation was still in progress, so you can see the scaffolding the fitters put up to work safely at height.
The before photo shows the front of the house with its old windows, including a wide first-floor window with decorative patterned top lights and a bay window below. The after photo is the same front while the work was under way. The wide first-floor window now has a new white uPVC window with clear glass, and the scaffold platform in front of it is there so the fitters can work safely. The roof, the brickwork and the front door were left as they were.
Upstairs windows are often fitted from scaffolding, so the free home survey also covers access. Our surveyor measures every window opening, checks the sills and the brickwork, and talks you through glass choices, opening styles and whether you would like patterned glass or clear glass. Everything is then built to size in Coleshill.
The windows are covered by our comprehensive guarantee. Amber Windows is FENSA registered, and finance is available if you would like to spread the cost.
