This white-rendered semi-detached house in Handsworth, B21, has two new uPVC bay windows and seven further windows from Amber Windows. As always, it began with a free home survey, and everything was made to measure at our factory in Coleshill.
The order was for two bays and seven standard uPVC windows. The before photo shows part of the house from below the roofline, with older frames beneath the guttering. In the after photo, the front of the house has stacked bay windows on the ground and first floors, both with new white frames, along with new windows across the rest of the front. Scaffolding is still up beside the entrance, and the Amber board is fixed below the lower bay.
Nine windows, including two bays on different floors, means a lot of measuring. At the free home survey, our surveyor measures each opening and every section of the bays, checks access for the upstairs work, including any scaffolding, and talks you through glazing and opening options. All the windows are then built to size in Coleshill.
