Amber Windows has fitted a new uPVC bay window and five more uPVC windows at this red-brick semi-detached house in Newbold Verdon, LE9. The job started with a free home survey, and everything was made to measure in Coleshill.
The before photo shows the front of the house, with the old white bay under its tiled canopy, two first-floor windows and a gabled porch over the front door. The after photo is a closer view of the bay once the new frames were in. The new white uPVC bay window has a narrow window on each side and a wide centre pane under two top openers. Scaffolding was put up across the front so the first-floor windows could be fitted safely, and it was still in place when the photo was taken. The bay canopy and the brickwork were left as they were.

A bay has angled sections that all have to line up under the canopy. At the free home survey, our surveyor measures each part of the bay and every other window, checks the sills and the canopy, and talks you through glass and opening options. Our surveyor also checks whether scaffolding is needed for the upstairs windows. The windows are then built to size in Coleshill.
The bay and the windows are covered by our comprehensive guarantee. Amber Windows is FENSA registered, and finance is available if you would like to spread the cost.
