Amber Windows has fitted new uPVC windows at this narrow Victorian house in Selly Park, B29. Its front is dominated by a white two-storey bay with carved panels and decorative capitals. The job started with a free home survey, and the windows were made to measure in Coleshill.
The order covered eight uPVC windows and a uPVC door. The bay has two main windows on each floor, set between white columns, with coloured leaded top lights on the ground floor. The before photo shows the whole front, with the blue front door beside the bay. The after photo is a closer view of the bay with its white frames, the leaded top lights in place below the carved panels, and the side passage and gate to the right. The carved stonework and the front door were kept.
