Seven new uPVC windows and a set of French doors have gone into this red-brick terraced house in Wolverhampton, WV10. Amber Windows surveyed the property, built everything at our Coleshill factory, and our own installers carried out the fitting. The photos below show the front of the house before work began and part-way through the installation.
The order covered seven uPVC windows and a set of French doors. The French doors are at the back of the house, so they do not appear in these photos, but you can see similar styles in our doors range. At the front, the old white frames had horizontal bars running across the lower part of the glass. The new windows on the first floor and beside the porch have clear, undivided panes in crisp white frames, resting on the stone-coloured sills and lining up with the stone bands that run across the brickwork. To be clear, the after photo was taken while our scaffolding was still up over the porch, so the job was not quite finished when it was snapped.
With seven windows and a set of French doors on one order, the free home survey is where everything is planned. Our surveyor measures every opening at the front and the back of the house, takes note of details such as the porch roof and the stone sills, and talks through how you would like each window to open. Each window and the doors are then built to those sizes in Coleshill, ready for our fitters.
All seven windows and the French doors are covered by our comprehensive guarantee. Amber Windows is FENSA registered, so your new windows can be certified as meeting building regulations, and you can choose to pay through finance rather than all at once.

Not quite. The photo was taken during the installation, while scaffolding was still up over the porch. The new white windows on the first floor and ground floor are already in place.
