Usually located in top opening windows, a bevel is constructed from individual three dimensional pieces of shaped cut-glass that are adhered to double glazed units for decorative purposes. Bevels can be coloured and are usually outlined in lead, though not always. These are known as ‘floating bevels’. Bevels produce the same effect as cut-glassware, breaking the light to create an elegant effect. We can provide bespoke combinations but the following are industry standard bevel designs. If you already have bevels then the chances are that they match one of these.
